I want to start by expressing our sincere hope that you will be able to make the trip to Montana to celebrate out wedding. We will be holding the ceremony and following dutch oven dinner at the Larry Creek Campground near Bass Creek in the Bitterroot National Forest. There is plenty of room for everyone to campout with us. We will be spending both Friday and Saturday nights at the campground with dinner Friday night, breakfast and Dutch-oven dinner Saturday, and breakfast Sunday morning. If you want to camp please include the number of people on the RSVP or email SashaandDave@gmail.com. You will need to provide your own camping equipment. The campsite is quite primitive, with only outhouses and no marked campsites, but there is a very nice campfire pit (so here's hoping for no campfire regulations!!).
If you do not want to spend the weekend in the outdoors there are other lodging options. There are a few hotels within 10-15 miles but the majoirty of them will be in Missoula which is 25 minutes north of the campsite. There is also a hostel in Missoula. Please see post below for more details.
We are really looking forward to everyone coming to enjoy the beauty of Montana's nature that we both love so much. We have spent many nights under the stars in the Bitterroot mountains and are always awed by the beauty and peace that we find. When we started planning this wedding the one thing we both knew is that we wanted it to be out in the woods in the landscape that we both are so drawn to.
We will be holding the ceremony at a special location at the campsite on Saturday afternoon at 1pm. Dinner will be prepared and served following the ceremony.
The entire wedding will be held outside and we will be at the mercy of Mother Nature for the whole weekend. Please come prepared for cold and wet as well as warm and sunny weather. As the date gets close I will continue to update you with local weather predictions.
Please e-mail me any questions at SashaandDave@gmail.com. And we can't wait to see you!!
Sasha & Dave
