Hotels

First off, I am so glad that you have decided (or are seriously considering ;-)!) coming to Montana.  Before you decide to rent a hotel room remember that camping is available for free at Larry Creek Campground.  The site is fairly primitive with only outhouses and no designated sites, we are basically camping in a big meadow! However, we will try to make them as comfortable as possible.  I am trying to get a solar shower set-up and there will be at least one hand/face washing station.  Let me know if you would like to camp but are not equipped and I will see what I can arrange.

There is also a new hostel in Missoula that is located close to down town.  http://hutchinshostel.com/index.html

If you would prefer to go the hotel route, there are a few options.
First, there is one hotel in Stevensville, which is the closest town to the campground. It is approximately 5 minutes south of the campground on Hwy 93.
Second, there is a Day’s Inn in Lolo, Montana just 10 minutes north of the campground on Hwy 93.
Finally, all of the other hotels will be in Missoula, which is approximately 20-25 minutes from the campground.  Here are a few options that are on the west side of town (closest to Hwy 93 south towards the campground) but there are many more.
